Hi everyone - thought I would journal December as it is always challenging with all the parties etc. Well to catch up I habe been to Sydney this week at a AGM and State Conference and Novice Auctioneer Competition. It was at Double Bay at the Stamford Plaza - very nice :). Well I had no alcohol and took my food for the Tuesday night but the conference started early and finished at 10:00pm on the Wednesday. I was very good all day until the night came and I had a bread roll with butter, duck salad for entree (beautiful) and then the meal was beef and veges. I don't eat beef so I ate the veges only. Then came out the lemon tart with a side serve of fruit and cream - well I looked at it for about 10 minutes before I decided just to have a taste - well you guessed it that was the end of me - I ate the lot but I did only have one taste of the pastry case and left the rest :). When I went back to my room I couldn't sleep so I did a lot of paperwork and was still awake at midnight and got the munchies so I attached the fridge and had a small chocolate and a small pkt of cashews - oops. So because I am so busy over December and I thought it would be good to journalise my month to help others and keep me honest :) So last night I had to go to a Xmas party on the way home - it was at the Art Gallery, lovely function - I didn't drink but I did have one little quiche tart. Home to cook tea for my hubby so I cooked a big batch of my chicken and we had chicken salad for dinner. So today is the 1st December and I have not been to the gym for a coule of days because of my trip in Sydney. So this monring I got to catch up with my hubby, do a small amount of cleaning before I head off to do three Open Houses for Kathy one of our sales consultants. Kathy was going away but he plans changed so she was going to have a relaxing weekend off. Thoroughly enjoyed my opens and that put me in a good mood and I was determined that I would attend gym today. I had oats for breakfast before I left, I thought I sprinkled a small pkt of splenda on my porridge but realised after that it was actually real sugar. I had some chicken after my open about 11:30 and then headed home to collect Blayne's (my step grandson) Xmas present for Santa tomorrow. I wrapped it up and took it over to my Dad and I also collected some tickents to a Xmas Party that all the grow-ups are going to tonight. I head straight to the gym from Dad's and I did a good leg workout, leg curls and static lunges (super set), Hack squat machine, Deadlifts on the Smith Machine and Standing and seated calf raises. I then did 45 minutes on the treadmill on incline. All in all a very good session. I quickly had a shower and I was back to the office around 2:00 o'clock. I then proceed to have my cup of berries and some more chicken. I am going to work now for the next 2 hours and then will head off home and Kim and I will get ready to go to the Xmas Party with my Mum and Dad. My plan is to have no alcohol (I will be driving anyway and we live at the opposite end of town) and just protien and salad. I have no idea what the food will be so will report back on how my plan panned out tomorrow. Sorry for the ramble but just goign to do this over December to show everyone that you can still have a good time, eat food and drink water of course :) and still keep on track if you focus. Oh I forgot Margie and I had our monthly weight in yesterday and we both had to pay BUT HOW GOOD IS THIS - Margie was point one (.1) off her goal and I was point two (.2) off my goal. So Margie lost her 3 kilos you may as well say and I lost nearly 1 kilo and we felt really good even though we did not quite make our goal and we even felt better because our money is going to two wonderful charities. All in all a good result. :) Ok Well as at 3:40 today my good is on track, my workouts are on track, I have walked over 12,000 steps on the pedometer (goal is 10,000 a day) but I was really keen to reach 12,000 min today as I only walked 8,000 yesterday. I have heaps of parties and weddings to go to between now and Xmas so this should be an interesting blog. No temptations have confronted me today and I am feeling as thought I will get a lot of work done in the next few hours. It has just started to rain although as I look at the window the sky looks clear out to the East where I live. Hope it is raining there also. Well Live with Passion and everyone enjoy the Festive Season - don't forget you can do that without over indulging in food and drink. Be the person delivering the food and drinks - that way no-one really notices that you are not eating. Live with Passion Kimmy |

Sounds like a great plan Kimmy. I have started a little "blitz" before Christmas just so that I can keep myself honest during this tempting time as well!
By the time the big day rolls around I should be in routine and it will be no big deal :)
Sounds like you are well on your way to looking sensational!
